School Fees Payment Methods

Below are several ways to pay your school fees.

Cheques and Bank Drafts

• We accept cheques and bankers draft from Ghanian banks.
• Please make them out to: DOXA OU
• Date format: day-month-year
• Please write your full name and your Student ID number on the back.
• Unfortunately we do not accept post-dated cheques.

Credit/Debit Cards
Credit cards are the fastest and easiest way to pay. You can pay by card on-line or by phone. Once payment is received, an email confirmation receipt is sent immediately, This acts as your proof of payment. Please note it may take some time for payment to be completely processed depending on account status.

International Bank Transfers

International students should pay their fees using our international bank transfer platform, powered by our partners such as Western Union Business Solutions etc. The service allows you,  or your sponsor to pay your tuition fees in a local currency and bank account  of choice. Additionally the service offers: 

• Non-fluctuation Exchange rates for 72 hours 
• Guranteed payment security
• Complete visibility of amount paid 
• Up to 2 working days Payment process

How it works?

 1. Log onto the Western Union payment platform to obtain a quote in your local currency in relation to the tuition fees. An email will be sent with details for payment at your bank or for online banking.
2. Take details to your bank for direct payment to our DOXA OU account or

3. Make payment via your online banking.

Standard Bank Transfers              

Transfer money from your bank directly to the DOXA OU bank account, for details of IBAN and SWIFT please call 00233202500500.

Please note the following:

• You must quote your student ID number as the payment reference
• Once payment has been processed you should email your remittance to account@doxaopenuniversity.com
• Payments are not processed without reference numbers.
• Some Ghanian banks might charge for processing overseas payments. Please verify.
• All charges relating to bank transfers is the responsibility of the applicant..

Admission Fees Payment Methods

• Pregraduate - GHc 200
• Undergraduate - GHc 300
• Postgraduate: - GHc 400
